What are your thoughts on Stand-Your-Ground laws?

Stand your ground laws states that people may use deadly force in order to protect defend themselves or others against threats or perceived threats. Stand your ground laws exist in 29 states, however other states such as California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, New Mexico, Oregon, Virginia, and Washington have statutes that allow for some cases where stand your ground law is applied.
