Of course, standardized tests should be used to gauge school performance. If there is a problem with standardized tests then the solution is the change the tests, change the standards or perhaps set up two or more different tracks with each its own standards and tests. This is obvious for efficiency, effectiveness, and it's also a guarantee that all will be offered the education that each can be successful with and that will most prepare them for a successful future.
